The Father, The Son, and the Truth about how their names were lost.

In order to establish a clear understanding of how the authentic names of our Father and Savior were lost, it is important to discuss the history of the Bible and its origins of language and translation. This information is to serve only as a brief summary of the events and facts. A more thorough search would be necessary to discover all facts.

The fact that the English language in its oldest form being  about 1500 years old is only one indicator that our current English translations of the Bible are distant relatives (metaphorically speaking) of the original Old and New Covenant manuscripts. The history of events recorded in scripture date back thousands of years before the birth of Christ. In fact, the first complete translation of the Bible into English dates back only a little more than 600 years and was accomplished by John Wycliffe.

The transcripts of the Old and New Testaments were respectively penned and compiled sporadically between (approximatley) 1400-1500 BC and the end of AD 100. This began with the writings of the Ten Commandments, written by Yahweh himself upon stone tablets and given to Moses at the top of Mount Sinai.
By AD 500, the scriptures had been translated into over 500 languages, just before the Roman Catholic Church, as the only recognized church of the period, restricted all translations to the Latin Vulgate (the Latin translated scriptures) around AD 600.

By the 1380’s, John Wycliffe, as a precursor to the Protestant Reformation, successfully translated the entire Bible into English. Consequently, it was the beginning of end of the dark ages (AD 500-1500), during which the medievil Roman Catholic Church banned all translations with the exception of the Latin Vulgate. This restricted all teachings of the Bible to the influence and deceptive interpretation of corrupt priests of that age. (Note: The information herein is not intended to discredit the Catholic Church in any way. Facts are facts; scrutiny is permissible by right to anyone seeking to verify - or discredit, if possible - such facts.)

By the time the scriptures had been translated into the English language, they had been translated from the original Hebrew (to Greek - Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament) into Latin (the language of the Roman Empire), Syriac (an Eastern Aramaic language), Coptic (Egyptian), and Arabic. Unfortunately, from one language to another and even directly from the original language(s) into modern languages, translations were not always entirely accurate and, therefore, contained transliterate and grammatical errors.

These facts aim to lay the groundwork for understanding of the likeliness of scriptural misinterpretation over time and, most importantly, the loss of the names of our Heavenly Creator and His Son, the Christ. A more thorough research would be necessary to understand the entirety of reasoning for which the Bible the Names have been mistakenly changed. Ultimately, and bove all, allow the Holy Spirit of Yahweh to reveal His truths to you.
The oldest language and text of
scripture - the original Hebrew
language - makes more than
6800 references to the authentic sacred and proper name of God in the form of four Hebrew letters (יהוה) known as the Tetragrammaton. The four letters appear in English as the capitalized consonants “YHWH”. As the ancient Hebrew alphabet contained no vowels, scribes would use diacritical marks and/or “points” above or below the letters to indicate pronunciation (or sound value) changes of the letters to which they were added. Jewish law experts attempted to disguise or hide the sacred name for the sake of the (superstitious) belief that it was plasphemous to be spoken. Whenever the Tetragrammaton appeared in the Hebrew text, scribes would insert diacritical marks or points to substitute vowels which ultimately translated for the Hebrew word “Adonai” into the English word “Lord”, and therefore replaced every reference to the name of God with “Lord” instead of keeping His authentic name, “Yahweh". Maybe more importantly, the subsequent publication of the first Greek translation of the Scriptures (the Septuagint or LXX) published in the second to third century B.C.E. altered Leviticus 24:16 and mandated the death penalty for anyone who uttered Yahweh's name. This belief and practice being (ignorantly) perpetuated through transliteration, the Holy and sacred name was eventually lost.

So where did the name "Jehovah" come from? It is believed by most scholars that the name "Jehovah" is actually a hybrid form of the Tetragrammaton. It is derived from the blending of the Latin letters "JHVH" (the latin form of YHWH)  and the vowels of the Hebrew word "Adonai". Some believe "Jehovah"  to have been in use as early as AD 300-600. However, the important fact is that the name  "Jehovah" was non-existent  in the eariest refereneces of Yahweh revealing His name, which dates back to the earliest books of the Old Testament (6th century BC).

Yahshua vs Jesus
His Authentic Holy Name
Again, the subsequent publication of the first Greek translation of the Scriptures (the Septuagint or LXX) published in the second to third century B.C.E. altered Leviticus 24:16 and mandated the death penalty for anyone who uttered Yahweh's name. But this mandate, would have also affected the loss Yahshua's name from the earth.
The name "Yahshua" actually translates as "Yahweh Saves" or "Yahweh is Salvation". In reference to the suprstitions of the priests and the teachers of the law, merely bearing the name "Yahshua" was reason enough for the religious system of Yahsua's day to hate Him and reject His existenece and divine purpose.
Yahshua even warned His disciples by stating that the religious system and the potilical or government systems would want to punish them for using His name and would try to force them to stop using it. (Ref: Luke 21:12; John 15:21)
Some who oppose these truths have argued the mere existence of the name "Yahshua" based on the fact that no other name has been given in Joeseph's (Mary's husband and Yahshua's earthly father) lineage related to such a name as "Yashua", and there would have been, therefore, no purpose for that name to be given by Mary and Joseph at Yahsua's birth. And as logical as that arguement sounds, there is one significant flaw - Yahshua was not named by Mary and Joseph. Rather, Yahshua's name was divinely given by the angel Gabriel who was sent by Yahweh to Mary with the messege of  the birth of Yahshua (Luke 1:26-35). Yahweh named His Son and ordained His Son to carry the only name under Heaven by which man can be saved: (Acts 4:12) "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Yahweh ordained His Son to carry the name of His own power and authority, and no common earthly name would do.
It is not our desire to change the names of our Father and Savior, but to return to what should have never been changed:
